Turns out, no problem. The machine is on the domain and appears to be working as intended. My only question is, though I have Windows 10 options chosen for the WSUS to download, will these updates be pushed to the Win 10 machine since this machine is shown as “Vista” on the WSUS, or will I have to manually check for updates on this machine until the issue is fixed?

Your Windows 10 machines should be able to properly download updates from the WSUS server despite showing as Vista machines. Yep, WSUS works fine, it’s merely a display error.

My 10 machines are working fine with it, and WSUS has had the new products for a few weeks now. Spiceworks pulls the key if you’re using it to scan your systems.
