Word for Mac document stops responding when you try to open a document – Resolution

As far I as know, my Microsoft Word has been always running smoothly. However, today when I click on the Microsoft Word nothing happens. I tried opening a document from an email and all that happens is my computer loads for a few seconds and then nothing happens. On one random click I did say ClickRun Configuration failed -but that only happened once for whatever reason. I did try Quick Repair, but as of right now it has been 20 minutes or so and it hasn’t completed.
