Yes, Microsoft Office does work on Windows I have it on my computer. I don’t use Outlook as it would interfere with newer versions of. I have a new Windows 10 PC/tablet and I want to install Word from my licensed Office CDs. Can I do this?

I loaded Word and Outlook only. Everything works fine except whenever I click on a doc file in Microsoft word 2003 for windows 10 explorer the Word program will open but the document does not open. I tried reinstalling Office but get the same thing.

I understand that you’re using Micrisoft Office to open a Word document on Windows Unfortunately, Windows 10 is not guaranteed to work with older software as early as Microsoft Office What you could do is to endeavor on getting a newer version of Office, since Word, for example, is compatible with older Word documents and can save in these older formats.
