One is the orange ‘i’ button on the arrange window track, the other is the ‘Auto Input Monitoring’ item under the main menu. I was just having this problem today and had to go under the dropdown menu to deselect the A. M option, and then turn on the orange ‘i’ track button. Not sure if others are having the same behavior. The other one is the Input Monitoring and it’s the “i” button on the track. But it’s not Auto and only refers to the signal coming in on the track.

Posted April 17, I just tried this again, and its not working for me. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong! So, I open logic, open a clean slate template, set Auto in on and software monitoring on.
