Adobe pdf dll windows 10 –

I just installed my licensed copy of Acrobat 8 professional on a new laptop. I know it’s old, but I know how to use it, use it daily, and don’t have time to learn a newer version right now. I can’t print to pdf, because of the adobepdf. I worked with the Dell tech support guy and we found a fix which let the program install, but the port is blank when attempts are made to print to pdf. Is there a way to correct this, that I can do myself? I don’t want to do anything that could damage my new system.
